Dance Laboratory Rhodes 2026

For those who like their culture with movement, rhythm and a little room for interpretation, Dance Laboratory Rhodes 2026 brings contemporary dance and performance to the island.
The festival explores ideas such as suspension, balance and aura, inviting dancers, choreographers and audiences to look at the body’s relationship with space, lightness and the world around it.
With performances, workshops, open rehearsals, site-specific works and artist talks, the 10-day program turns the island into part of the stage. Historic courtyards, cultural venues and open-air spaces become places where movement meets architecture, nature and Aegean light.

Rhodes & South Aegean International Jazz Festiva

The Rhodes & South Aegean International Jazz Festival brings together Greek and international artists, creating a musical meeting point that celebrates jazz as a language of exchange, improvisation and connection.
Over the years, the festival has explored themes ranging from jazz and poetry to jazz, as well as artificial intelligence, while supporting young local musicians from Rhodes and the South Aegean.
It is the kind of event that gives autumn on the island a different rhythm. Still warm, still atmospheric, just with a little more saxophone in the air.
Traditional Panigyria in Rhodes
Where the island celebrates like only Greece can.
These local celebrations are part religious feast, part music night, part community gathering and part “you said you were leaving early, but now you’re dancing till dawn.” They are deeply connected to the island’s traditions and offer visitors one of the most authentic ways to feel Rhodes beyond the postcard.
Among the most loved is Panagia Kremasti on August 15th, one of the largest festivals in the Dodecanese, with celebrations lasting for several days, a major local fair and plenty of people joining the festivities. On September 8th, Panagia Tsambika near Archangelos attracts many pilgrims and visitors, with the walk to the famous monastery forming part of the experience before the celebrations begin.
In late July and early August, Agios Soulas in the forest of Soroni stands out for its horse races, traditional dances and strong local character. Agia Marina, celebrated on July 17th in places such as Archangelos and Paradisi, also brings together locals and visitors for music, dancing, food and that unmistakable village-festival energy.
